T O P I C R E V I E WCatKeeper...Just noticed my natal Saturn was "stationary" retrograde on one chart. How does being stationary retrograde differ from just retrograde? I know it means Saturn appears to be standing still from our position on earth when it's stationary, but what does that mean astrologically? Is it a better or worse influence...? I've read both, depending on the astrologer. What would you guys say???Doux RêveIt means that your Saturn expresses itself more inwardly - you may have problems with structure and organisation out in the world, and you may impose "structures" within yourself, instead. You may now know exactly what you're capable of and have a hard time with boundaries (showed in the area Saturn rules and the aspects it makes). It's not really "bad", just different. It may take you more time to "own" your Saturn energy in a contructive way. But it can also make you introspective and you can learn a lot about yourself.
